I wonder why they didn't ask him how Jesus would feel about his stance on abortion. Or if it was a moral issue that trial lawyers have helped to drive health care costs to the point where the poor he claims to care about can't afford it. Pretty much a softball interview.

I wonder if Jesus is happy that he complains about two Americas while living in the rich one. If he is that concerned about the poor and those without health insurance, he has the means to take care of it for an awful lot of people.

It will be interesting to see if Edwards get the heat Bush did in 2000 when people were concerned about Bush's faith affecting his decisions. Edwards said almost exactly what Bush said

If the truth were known, Jesus would have a lot to criticize about BOTH parties! :jesus:

Very likely, and I also would bet (oops, more gambling!) that he would reach out to people of any political persuasion.

I thought it was a good interview. I agree with most of what John Edwards said. Although Edwards is trailing in the poll now, it is a long way till November 2008 and a lot can and will happen on both sides of the isle.
