I have not decided yet on which phone to upgrade to next month as its been a difficult decision. I have used the Blackberry for 2 years and enjoy the small size, the keyboard, and the ease of doing things. The iPhone is no question the better device when compared to my BB Curve 3G and most older BB's. However the new BB Bold 9900 is a very nice device with its speed, memory, above other things, not including both a keyboard and touchscreen!
Multimedia, games, and a multitude of apps are not the most important features of a phone for me, but yet this is why many dislike the Blackberry. I have a Gameboy for games, a Canon Digital camera, a JVC Camcorder, and a Macbook for multimedia. Also to note that on the iphone I will have to pay extra for TeleNAV, and it does not support Bluetooth audio pairing (yet), nor will it sync with the sprint navigation websites, which means I will lose 30+ go to destinations. For my car I have a Garmin, however when I bike ride I rely on my cell phone to navigate. If the iPhone cannot bluetooth pair (yet) then it would be difficult to navigate.
However a MAJOR advantage the iPhone has over the BB is that it will sync with Mail and Safari, so I can browse the web much faster, and send emails and have access to my MacBooks mailboxes.
So what would you choose of the Phones and why?

iphone4s. I'm not a big fan of blackberry. I've had some people that have had them and have issues. Email is so much easier to setup on iphone. Now, if you can wait, I've heard that the iphone5 will come out in June. This of course is rumor, but it's possible. They used to be on a June schedule. Otherwise, the iphone4S is a great phone. I have a DroidX and am planning on upgrading to the iphone when I'm eligible in June.

IPhone is my vote. Blackberry is seriously tanking and the iPhone is a better platform for your needs.

I used Blackberry for several years nad really liked it. But things have certainly changed with phones. We now use Droid Pro. Similar to Blackberry layout. There are other new and more exciting phones out there, but we like this phone, very similar, does a lot more, apps &c.

In terms of a media device, I just don't think you can get any better than the iPhone for flexibility and use. Some Andriod stuff is presenting a good challenge, but iPhone is still the benchmark. Just my thoughts, but it is where the market is at and will be for a while. -
BB is most definitely on a downward trend. Existence of support forums today is not proof of a flourishing, much less growing, market.
Best evidence I have of this: military has been almost exclusively BB for years; over the last two years, however, more and more military leaders have been directing their IT support to make the systems compatible with Apple products. Just last week, I heard that military pilots are switching from standard flight checklist books to iPads.
BB has to redefine themselves, and quickly. Otherwise they'll shut doors within 5 years. -

I carry a BB Storm II and love it. My wife uses an Android phone and it is also nice, but I have trouble with her touch screen over the BB screen. I have to "click" mine, which works great for my large fingers. Hers is pure touch and I find myself touching stuff I never intended to touch.
With that being said, however, BB is currently in trouble and is having problems keeping up with the latest generation of smart phone software. their hardware is great for what it is intended -- a business use smart phone that will take a daily pounding and deliver business level communication securely and when one wants it -- but it is not up to par with other current offerings.
There are some issues with the iPhone that I wish could go away, and if they did, I would probably be interested myself, especially now that I can get one on Verizon instead of the dreaded AT&T. But the low battery life, the problems with clear speech, and a few other issues that crop up (like having to drink the Apple kool aid) halt me from serious consideration. Guess I'd prefer a Samsung instead. -

Also you forgot to mention the fact that TeleNav costs money for the iPhone but is free with BB and Android. Also TelneNAV for iPhone cant sync with the website and currently does not support Bluetooth pairing.
I may get a iPhone in March know since Sprint has the iPhone. But I also may go with the BB Bold. I'm sure in time teleNAV for iPhone will be just as feature rich as the BB and Android versios. -

What don't you like about Android phones? I've had a Droid 2 Global for a year and a half and I love it. Has a physical keyboard. When upgrade time comes this fall I will seriously look into the iPhone although I hate being boxed into Apple's proprietary technical prison. -
I have never seen such poor service, even in areas where they purportedly have towers, as Sprint. I carry one for my work phone in Milwaukee and I have to forward calls to my BB as soon as I hit the Milwaukee County line as the phone goes dead. No roaming, no nothing, just no signal -- dead. Found that out by accident when I got a couple calls at 5:30 am that some of the people who work for me made at 11 pm the night before.
Also used Sprint in Louisville, and found that as I drove across the city I would loose signal. When I called the response was always, "Oh, we have a couple of towers down right now." Every day? Only reason I use them at all is that my various bosses were enamoured with the press-to-talk feature, which I also abhor. They beep in and it is ALWAYS when you are in the middle of something or with someone. :BangHead: -
From a quick Google search

just look for it on the web. There are plenty of people that have gone from Blackberry to iphone -
I-phone. I had BB and I-phone at the same time. I got the BB for connectivity and found that despite the high ratings, it STUNK!
It's also easier, quicker, and more efficient to text and surf with the I-phone.
For staying connected and having conversations in noisy places, I'm stuck on my Rugby. I can be on the AFB and still have a conversations with planes taking off and landing. Can't do that on any other phone I've had. It also is good for extreme temps, so don't have to worry about the battery dying fast during weather. But it's definitely not a phone to buy for surfing and texting.
So I suggest letting the Blackberry rot on the bad vine it came off of. LOL I was SO disappointed in mine. I like having the combination of the Rugby and I-Phone, both great in different settings and for different uses. -

This is not what I am talking about. TeleNAV has addresses on a website and it has nothing to do with Outlook or Entourage.
