No, trust Goofy & Daffy.

This is a National Intelligence Estimate reviewed by the National Intelligence Board which is chaired by the Director of National Intelligence.
It is didn't come from "Mickey Mouse".
Here is the declassified portion of the report:
www.odni.gov/press_releases/20071203_release.pdf
Here are some of the points:
• Tehran’s decision to halt its nuclear weapons program suggests it is less determined to develop nuclear weapons than we have been judging since 2005. Our assessment that the program probably was halted primarily in response to international pressure suggests Iran may be more vulnerable to influence on the issue than we judged previously.
• Our assessment that Iran halted the program in 2003 primarily in response to international pressure indicates Tehran’s decisions are guided by a cost-benefitapproach rather than a rush to a weapon irrespective of the political, economic, and military costs. This, in turn, suggests that some combination of threats of intensified international scrutiny and pressures, along with opportunities for Iran to achieve its security, prestige, and goals for regional influence in other ways, might—if perceived by Iran’s leaders as credible—prompt Tehran to extend the current halt to its nuclear weapons program. It is difficult to specify what such a combination might be.
G. We judge with high confidence that Iran will not be technically capable of producing and reprocessing enough plutonium for a weapon before about 2015.

We have identified Iran as a supplier of Al Queda, we know they supplied troops & weapons, and international pressure appears to be working. No need to further risk our troops, they have done a superior job.
Now perhaps Bush should declare mission just about accomplished. This is a positive result of the war in Iraq, ain't it ? -

The world knows Iran has been behind a lot of the terrorism in the mideast, the sanctions have re-enforced that. And we can't forget Dinnerjacket's buddy Hugo got his rear end handed to him yesterday, and that will reverberate heavily in Iran's leadership halls.
The U.S. forces indentified Iranian weapons moving into Iraq, and they identified them as fueling the insurgency.
Can't articulate better, but I think you know what I mean. If we had left Iraq when Sadaam was caught, who knows where Iran would be. -
The sanctions have been and are on Iran regardless of whether these United States had invaded Iraq.
So, no, there is no connection between the two events. -

We'll have to agree to disagree. The sanctions may have been there, but the work of our forces has further exposed them, and the world has seen it.
All that being said, you'll agree with me there is no need to bomb, or invade Iran. -
Yep. That is what is fantastic about this report. There is no way that President Bush(or Israel) can bomb or invade Iran now.
I wonder how Vice President Cheney and the other neocons are dealing with what is a very disappointing report - in their eyes.
I think I'll celebrate by watching your bluegrass video again. :) -

If we have a "terrorist" attack before the next election, I will admit you may be right.
If the election happens without a "terrorist" attack, will you admit you might have been wrong?
Yes or no will do. -

Thanx for the answer.

Thanx for the question.
Oh, and I'll try to ta keep ya'll posted if I hear anything fishy is going on, like six or seven "gubmint anti terror drills" all happening at the same time and place. Again. -
Here is the 9/11 Truther-like response :) by the leading neocon intellectual, Norman Podhoretz:

He uses phrases such as:
"I must confess to suspecting" and
"But I entertain an even darker suspicion." -

I don't think we need to take our eyes off Iran, this little runt likes to keep things going, and I don't trust him, anymore than I trust ABC news, but we need to take a breath.
