The couple stand before God on Judgement day, and God states that he saw that they commited sins of a divorce and then another marriage, and they both claim to have trusted in Jesus to be their Savior, and God answers" so what?"

If one has confessed the sin to God, and the blood of Jesus is applied towards that person, to God how can that person still be in sin?
