The specter of a devastating Middle East confrontation looms bigger than ever this week after former US Ambassador to the UN John Bolton noted that Israel had only a few days left to attack Iran's main nuclear facility. http://www.israeltoday.co.il/default.aspx?tabid=178&nid=21715
Is Israel about to attack Iran?

Re the thread title: 'probably' is the answer. Regional nuclear war in time for Christmas - possibly.

Over 6 million Jews went quietly to their deaths once before.
I wouldn't expect they would do so again.
If Iran develops nuclear weapons, there will be a Middle Eastern nuclear holocaust for sure. The only way to prevent that is to stop Iran from getting them.
The Israelis know this, even if nobody else in the free world does.
I disagree with Bolton about how much time they have. With their very survival at risk, I doubt they will be overly concerned for the Iranians at ground zero. Nor should they be. -

I understand that Israel only has till Saturday to do something or it will be to late. Once they "Iran" fire up the reactor it would be bad to strike it because the radiation would contaminate even the atmosphere. Seems the Russians don't mind side stepping the sanctions that would detour them......rather they are knee deep in it too.

If Canada hated us and swore they would destroy the US and was close to getting a nuclear weapon, I'd support President Obama bombing them. I won't be a hypocrite and say Israel shouldn't act to protect themselves.

Aww.. let em get the nuclear stuff in the reactors... that way when Israel bombs them, it will be a bigger "BOOOM"... and it might wipe off "Ima dang nut job" off the earth!

Were it that simple: trouble is it wouldn't just wipe out Madmullah Ahmedinnerjacket but also tens of thousands of innocents, such as Sakineh Ashtiani
