Perhaps she qualifies as being the worst First Lady.
BTW,"The would-be-assassin"..."until they cooled down, and while the SS figured out what to do with them"?Are you speaking of one individual,or more than one?
It sounds like a Paul Harvey story. The only thing missing was :"And that ... is the end of the story!"
I used "they" and "them" to avoid any 'preliminary guess' as to the 'identification' of the one wielding the knife, for the uses of "she" and "her" might have given an early clue.
I also did not mention that the knife was a 'butcher knife', from the kitchen, for the same reason.
The Secret Service agents were more
than one individual.
I meant "candidate" - it's possible to be a great candidate and lose or be a terrible candidate and win. You'd really want someone in there that can do both - campaign well and govern well. But we're still at the candidate stage.
See, that's not so good for Obama, considering that you're in Maryland. For example, I think he should have a much larger lead than ten points in that blue of a state:
^^^ That poll, or any poll, can be wrong this far out, and there's still time to turn it around. That's half- right about the debates, they are rarely a factor but then this time there's a big group of undecideds, UNLESS, there really is a Bradley Effect going on already, ...who knows?
1 & 4 can be merged and should be diagonised, as well as 2 & 3, and next week is the last chance for the latter. I just can't see an Obama win except in theory.
