There was someone I loved very much and she broke it off. Had I been able to "fortell" and knowt he outcome, I would have rather not loved at all

Uhh, I am waiting to be the subject of love rather than having unrequited love.... but oh well such is life:laugh:

Had I been able to "foretell" I wouldn't have loved at all either. This doesn't count my wife, whom I love dearly.
My high school girlfriend and I were doing wonderful for over a year and she suddenly became sick. She began acting..I'll skip it all. Just like her mother, it just came on one day. A year after we broke up, she was in a mental institution for about a year due to a suicide attempt.
She is bipolar, and showed absolutely no signs of it earlier. IN high school., she got great grades, worked part-time, and remained pretty level. She was popular. We still love one another, but it's NOT a romantic love. I check up on her every few years. She is doing wonderful, been married for 7 yrs, and has a great job.
My wife agreed that I would always ensure she is taken care of, and if /when we are all old, she would be in a nursing home with us.

i think it is definitely better to have loved.
I loved my father dearly, and when he died I was so sad. I miss him still, but I am so glad I had him in my life. THere are others too that I have loved and do love. Sometimes love hurts. -

Love is better spent
with a spouse who loves you too
than kept to yourself -
