Is this a joke or what:

What's the problem?

Maybe a restroom with "Sexual Deviants" on the door would satisfy Barney.
-
It is for real.
It may not pass this session, but will be introduced
each year until it passes.
I remember when I was a kid in a town of about 8,000 (then
only 3,000 now). The Bus stations restrooms were labeled:
MEN
LADIES
BLACKS
Now days there is a symbol for men & another for women
(strangely, the woman is wearing a skirt or dress).
I betcha the new symbol will be half man symbol
and half woman symbol
(Anybody want to start a pool on if the right or the left
will be the 'man' half?) -
The transgendered folks I know generally pick a restroom and go with it. The idea of separate facilities is a bit silly.

I remember one summer in the late 1970s I was
down in the SIX FLAGS OVER TEXAS in the Dallas Area.
I was waiting for my party to finish a ride.
I was in view of a Rest room: men on the left, women
on the right, a hand rail in front of the door.
A probably 8-year-old boy and a 9-year-old
boy when into the men's room.
About 5 teen-age boys dressed in drag studied
the MEN/WOMEN signs, had a short discussion and
went into the men's room. Out comes the two
boys: one over the rail, one under the rail.
"What the /expletative deleted/ was that"
exclaimed the 8-year-old. The wiser 9-year-old
said: "They were /expletative deleted/-ing
guys dressed like girls :( " -

Well, let's take a man who is in the process of being transgendered into a woman.
I would be very uncomfortable if he(she) were in the restroom with me, because I believe that no matter what superficial medical procedures he(she) has undergone, genetically, he is still a man.
And, because this transgendered person has the appearance of a woman and is attracted to men, I can only assume that there would be some men who would be uncomfortable if he(she) were in the bathroom with them.
My heart breaks for these people who are so emotionally and spiritually troubled that they go to the extreme of changing what makes them a unique creation of God in an attempt to find peace of mind and happiness. It's very sad to me.
This bathroom issue is just one of many "technicalities" that we as a society are going have to address and think about. Maybe no laws are required, but discussions are very important.

I know two transgendered people, and I wouldn't follow either one into any restroom.
Sorry, I think playing God with one's body is wrong. I'm not interested in understanding it. -
I would like a bill introduced which requires that all white males, between the ages of 35 and 45, should receive foot messages and hair trimmings. I would also like a daiquiri, with option of adding alcohol, to be provided. And when I leave the restroom, I would like the greeter speak Aussie and say "Have a good day Mate".
In addition, anyone with the name Ralph receives a free car wash!
Thank you, -

Motion carried! This bill is to include anyone by the name John aka TRAGIC_PIZZA. The aforesaid bill shall also include any friends/family of John's.
However, the Bill shall not be modified in any form or fashion to include women. This is a man's only club, just call us the Rascals! We still love you ladies but you're out on this one! -
Wait! The bill will only include me for six more months!
I got to get moving on those foot massages!
