This answer is not enough, you still need to give a credible answer to those who say that the KJV is at fault in that it follows mss that include Byzantine glosses, conflations and additions.

Sorry Hank. I cannot give you, nor anyone else FAITH and UNDERSTANDING OF THE SCRIPTURES.

Funny how some here will say that they are KJV without the "O", but then turn around and state that the KJV is the ONLY bible a Christian should use. I believe that would make them a KJV ONLY. Then others continually say there are corruptions in the MV's yet, they can't prove it. They've probably never read the MV's, and if they have they haven't compared the scriptures. They claim some people don't have faith or understanding. It seems to me that THEY are the ones without the FAITH or UNDERSTANDING of the scriptures, as they falsely accuse their brethren of not having such. It's strange, but sad. To use such circular reasoning is a shame.
Concerning these two passages, it is clear there are differences in the passages, but does it really affect our faith or our trust in the Bible? It doesn't for me.

Sorry folks, computer glitch.... :(

I don't know how we got from the passages in the OP to a discussion of what "KJVO" means, but may we return to the topic of the OP?

C4K, it came from a post in this thread made by mjwegs42. ;) Sorry, but you asked.

1 Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and [be] ready always to [give] an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
In addition you haven't held back before with a less than meek response with ad hominems thrown in as well to those who question your statements.
This seems one of your favorite tactics with those who disagree with you, either question their faith or cast aspersions on it by adopting an holier than thou atitude or by SHOUTING pious platitudes such as
But if you can, please give Robycop an answer to his 1st post concerning Isaiah 53: and Acts 8:30-33 without attacking him directly or by innuendo and prove me at least partially wrong.
What do the differences in these passages have to do with MV's anyway, he is asking concerning the differences within the covers of the KJV itself.

Go back and read my post Hank. My post was in response to his question that I put in bold.

Still has nothing to do with the opening post, Michelle. It is the one at the top of page number one.

Then what are you doing responding to my post then, if indeed it is off topic? Hypocrate.

Trying to get you back on topic.

IMO, you're absolutely wrong here. Why shuld one use ONLY a 400-yr-old version that's nor even in the language style of the reader? Do you believe God retired in 1611 & no longer updates His word?
--------------------------------------------------
Michelle:Because the mv's show corruptions to the words of God, the scriptures. That is why.
The usual question, which you don't answer: PROOF, PLEASE?
Otherwise, you're wrong, as usual. -
BACK ON TOPIC:
IF...Philip & the Ethiopian were using a GREEK version of Isaiah(or a version in ANY language besides Hebrew) the differences between it and the version translated into the KJV are too great to be explained away by language differences. -

I can just feel the love in that. Whenever I would call my brother or sisters a name, my mom would say that it takes one to know one. You might want to think about that for a while.
--------------------------------------------------
At least what I have said of you is the truth. What you have said of me is NOT. You need to think about this one - John 7:24.

You do not accept the proof and reject it. Can't help you there robycop. Your saying it is wrong is only your opinion, but the proof has been given you many times.

No, Michelle, I don't accept someone's unfounded, clueless OPINION as "Prooof" for ANYTHING except the bias of the 'opinionizer". YOUR "prooof" consists of saying, in so many words, "It aint the KJV so it's wrong"....plain ole CIRCULAR REASONING, which translates as "I am clueless". -

Acts 8:32-33
The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:
In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.
2 Timothy 3:16
All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
So even a passage (at least this one) which doesn't match the Masora is scripture

Thanx, Hank.
The KJVOs like to pick-n-choose which Scriptures they take at face value, and which ones to add their ideas to try to make them support the KJVO myth.(Example:psalm 12:7, in the face of what the AV translators themselves wrote about their use of "them" in the verse)
I think Luke makes it clear where the Ethiopian STARTED reading at. Most likely, he read further, but once Luke had established where he'd started reading, he saw no need to write the whole rest of the chapter we number as #53.
