Are you talking about rugby?
What a great sport - it is like American football in the late 19th century. No pads and no forward passes. One of the greatest sports tournaments in the world, the Six Nations competition is on at the moment and Sunday Scotland shocked the rugby wotld by beating France! -
No not rugby .I know what rugby is. I have seen it played on TV its a rough sport also .

I believe you are talking about "Australian rules" 'football', but I know little about it, or where it's played.

NFL Europe wear full pads and equipment.
They ought to rename it NFL Germany. Only Amsterdam is a non-German based team ;) .
ARF is a lot like Gaelic football played in Ireland. So alike in fact that they play a compromise rules series every year. No pads in Gaelic football either, but it is more like soccer where you can use your hands. -
Oops. Somehow I overlooked the "with no pads" phrase.
The teams seem to move around periodically, as there have been teams from Spain, Scotland, and England (I have a London Monarchs shirt), and probably other places.
