Scientific Study Shows that the U.S. Is an Oligarchy, Not a Republic or a Democracy
We noted last year:
American democracy – once a glorious thing – has devolved into an oligarchy, according to two leading IMF officials, the former Vice President of the Dallas Federal Reserve, the head of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, Moody’s chief economist and many others.
But don’t take their word for it …
A new quantitative study by Princeton’s Martin Gilens and Northwestern’s Benjamin Page finds that America is not a democracy … but is an oligarchy.
Here’s a quick visual overview from the study:

It’s Official: America is an Oligarchy and NOT a Democracy or a Republic

But back to the OP - Don't want an Oligarchy? Then you will need to compromise on a few issues to get good men elected. - oh yea I forgot....:BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead: -

I'm compromised out. You can only trust a group and be betrayed by them so many times. The GOP doesn't put up good men.
But chin-up, eh ? This time the GOP PROMISES not to break their promises. -

This should really be written in smoke up in the sky. A whole bunch of times so the last sentence keeps fading away over and over and over and over...
Or just copyright it and put it on a t-shirt. Or a VERY long bumper sticker. -
That'll solve all our problems. Just look at how much it's helped so far . . . -

We need to stop playin' with that thing, guys.

You probably know a whole bunch of stuff about keeping score in politics and how to use stats and what not to make the other fella look bad I'll bet.
You must be really impressed with yourself.
You go right on about your "business" of keeping people entertained with all those phony debates and useless information.
It's all fine by me. -
Pssst, don't look now but your hypocrisy is showing, again.

How does that oath go again? -
And Ponch? Some people are delusional, and see things that aren't there. Like you. -
I would have thought you'd have noticed, but then there are people who cannot see what's right in front of them.
Like you apparently. I guess you must think displaying your hypocrisy so often is going to bolster your credibility. That's funny because it does more to damage it.
I've noticed that your images and hypocrisy increase in size the closer anyone's threads get to the truth, you probably haven't noticed that though.
I believe you've lived the big lie so long now the thought of the truth coming out scares you. Why not? Your whole life has been based on belief in the big lie. So the scarier the truth is the bigger your images and more blatant your hypocrisy has to become.
This isn't a personal attack btw, no it's more of a personal observation and ya don't need glasses to observe what you constantly put on display for us.
Your kind is losing the infowar because of the way you act.

Hillarious!! Loved every laugh I got out of it.
Thanks so much, didn't think I'd ever get anything useful out of the drivel you post, but you fooled me.
How often to you lose touch with reality like that/
Oh, wait, stupid question. You're never in touch with reality in the first place. Never mind.
... is because it is too big??
And now I'm done. Realized from the start that engaging you even for a second is like fighting in a battle of wits with an unarmed man.
Carry on with you ultra-idiocy.
Just, do let me know when I can get another laugh like that out of you, please. -
Here's an idea. Why don't you instead of doing your usual idiotic dancing and prancing for yourself address the topic?
You've already shown you are a troll of the first order and can derail threads with antics a third grader would be ashamed of, you proved once again that you are at the top of the heap when it comes to hypocrisy but you have not shown the OP to be wrong.
Why don't you try it? It's bad enough you being a hypocritical troll and you definitely earned the name of the "great insulter" but now it seems you're adding another dimension to your online personality. Cowardice.
By coming here only to snear, jeer and smear * instead of discussing the topic you are taking on the characteristics of a coward. But I don't suppose you can see that either.
* When I click on TND's public profile I get a blank page so it would seem I am still on his ignore list. So yeah along with everything else he has proven himself a coward.
TND has proven himself as a hypocritical foul mouthed bully that constantly ignores the rules he accuses other of violating, several times over. C'mon people is this what passes for credibility on this board? -

Wal-Mart must be important since it's listed twice.
I see the FBI, the FDA, and the IRS, all government agencies, not corporations. There is a huge tribute to the Rockefeller Corp, er, the Rockefeller Foundation (charitable organization founded by Calvinist Baptist John D. Rockefeller.)
And there's the U.S. Army, and the U.S. Marines. Oh, and the ACLU. And PETA. And there's the Southern Poverty Law Center as well. All famous corporations, right?
Oh, and what's this? The Israeli flag. Yep, the Israeli flag is seen in the lower right hand corner. And Bilderberg, not a corporation, but a think tank.
Very imaginative image. Thanks for posting it!
