Avro Manhattan was a Knight Templar, who created Knight Templar Priory of England in 1974. (Freemasonry)
He was named Knight Commander of the Knights of Malta, 1981. (Freemasonry)
It is interesting how Jack Chick is the publisher of Avro Manhattan’s books, in spite of Jack Chick condemning Freemasonry as the work of Satan. Jack Chick also employed Avro Manhattan, as an anti-Catholic Church writer for his newspaper, The Battle Cry.
Freemasonry, historically, has stated that its goal is the destruction of the Catholic Church. It is no wonder that Avro Manhattan had the same goal. Dr. Marie Stopes, Avro Manhattan’s married lover, also claimed to work to destroy the Catholic Church through articles for her pro-abortion, pro-contraception stand.
Dr. Marie Stopes is the recognized founder of the women’s reproductive rights movement and relied on the help and support of her lover Avro Manhattan to attack the Catholic Church who was opposing their efforts to pave the way for legal abortion and acceptance of contraception. She appointed Avro Manhattan a member of the executive committee of her Stopes Birth Control Clinic, London, 1954-59.
In short, the work of Avro Manhattan is biased and with an agenda. He has no credentials as a historian and no inside knowledge of the Jesuits priests and the Catholic Church. He was openly attacking the Catholic Church because of the Catholic Church’s pro-life stand, and because as a Freemason he believed the Church to be the enemy to be attacked.
After writing many anti-Catholic books Avro Manhattan received the Pioneer Award from the American Atheists in 1976, for world-wide education in the matter of theo-politics.
Anyone can do their own research and look at the biographies of the people involved. Jack Chick condemns the work of Freemasonry as the work of Satan, and at the same time publishes Avro Manhattan’s books to expose the “truth” about the Catholic Church.
God Bless

The Catholic Church has stood staunchly against freemasonry too, perhaps rightly so, then develops an image group called the Knights of Columbus, so the battle goes on.
-
With so many warnings being published concerning the wrongs of Freemasonary,
Catholicism, Protestantism, Mormonism...etc...........how do I handle THAT ?
Don't join anything !!! -
There is nothing sinister about it at all. -
One major difference between the "brotherhood" of Freemasons and the "brotherhood" of Knights of Columbus is that Freemasons accept even believers in "wicca" as their "brothers". They only need to believe in "something". It matters not who the person's god is.
Knights of Columbus is a "brotherhood" of fellow Catholics. Both groups believe in doing good works, but Masons don't believe that it is Christ working within them. The Knights of Columbus is an alternative to Catholic men so they don't feel the only choice of a fraternal organization is the Masons. My husband is a Knight of Columbus and knows it is Christ within him that does any good. The Knights of Columbus is also not a "secret" society like the Masons whose secrets are disclosed gradually at higher levels of involvment.

I've long ago come to the conclusion that is Jack Chick condemns it, then it must be okay ;)
I think that Jack Chick and L Ron Hubbard are the same person. Okay, maybe not, but the similarities are striking  -

I'm a member of the Knights of Columbus, and a more Christian group you will not find.
