    "Rockson,

    Hello Rs...welcome to bb.

Yes,,,following the teaching of Paul...according to the scriptures jesus died a covenant death for the elect, and each and everyone of them given by the father will indeed be saved
No...of course not....We can preach that God loves sinners...In Christ. To be apart from Christ is to remain apart from His love.
We would not want to lie or deceive them....
have you ever noticed that the word ....love...does not appear anywhere in the book of Acts, where the apostolic preaching was recorded for us?

Are you reading from an amplified bible? i have not seen verses saying
the lucky ones or the especially blessed ones...
which verses did you have in mind?

So you saying you should not tell your children God is wonderful? That God is love? That you should love God with all your heart and soul?

First off, I don’t have any kids, but if I did, I would tell them God’s love is found in Christ.

Yes, the instruction is, "I can raise people from the dead. I can restore sight to the blind. I can heal leprosy. That's because I am the Messiah, there Son of God."

It's not, "I'm doing this so in a couple thousand years some man-made theological system can use it as a metaphor."

Oh, that is cute. You have God's anointing so you can see spiritual truth. Me? You don't think so.

Kinda dancing around my question. While that is certainly a truth, that is not what I asked. I like to stay pointed so I can fully understand your position. I always answer any direct questions put to myself, for I am very sure of what I believe, no need to answer a different question than what I am asked.

You raise an interesting possibility....any truth a person welcomes must come from God.

Oh...I see....the question mark makes it ok....Let me try your method....
So Steaver....are you saying you love and worship Satan?
How long have you denied the love of God is in Christ?
Have you stopped beating your wife and kids since you have tried to stop drinking?

    Yes.....question marks are wonderful? ???

God is wonderful and worthy of all worship from even the vilest person, but the lost ppls’ wicked, sinful hearts preclude them from doing so.

God does not love everybody, as Psalm 5:5 & Proverbs 6:16-19 states. Then in Romans 9, there are vessels of mercy & vessels of wrath. These vessels never intermingle with each other. The vessels of mercy were taken from the same lump that the vessels of wrath are in.

And do you love God with ALL your heart, soul, mind & strength? Of course not. None of us, and none of creation has, even His children. That’s why being in Christ is where God’s love is found.

    1. No
    2. Never
    3. Never beat my wife and kids. Still drink.

    Whew! That was really hard!

See how easy it is to answer any question. The difference is, I have nothing to dance around.

This would be a good answer from a Calvinist father. I trust this is what Calvinist fathers teach their children as well as Calvinist churches would teach their children's SS classes. Would you agree?
