    You need to understand the Greek word translated look as it is not limited to seeing;

    1) to see, discern, of the bodily eye
    a) with the bodily eye: to be possessed of sight, have the power of seeing
    b) perceive by the use of the eyes: to see, look descry
    c) to turn the eyes to anything: to look at, look upon, gaze at
    d) to perceive by the senses, to feel
    e) to discover by use, to know by experience
    2) metaph. to see with the mind's eye
    a) to have (the power of) understanding
    b) to discern mentally, observe, perceive, discover, understand
    c) to turn the thoughts or direct the mind to a thing, to consider, contemplate, to look at, to weigh carefully, examine
    3) in a geographical sense of places, mountains, buildings, etc. turning towards any quarter, as it were, facing it

My friend. I know all that. One can sin in their thoughts.

My friend. Christians who have the righteousness of Christ who fight their tendencies are repentant of their sin; whereas people who practice their sinful tendencies are celebrating their sin.

There is no such thing as gay christians.
You are trying to create a whole new category of people. The bible disagrees with you. Such WERE some of you, not such are some of you.

    A quote Osteen would love!

I bet Joel Osteen would love this quote. But since he is afraid of "offending people" and is himself a coward (if he is saved) he will always try to please the ungodly culture in his preaching.

Joel says he "doesn't think God categorise sin". Is that another way to dumb down his answer to the serious question?:saint:

Is it even possible to "dumb down" Joel Osteen?

A person murders someone - yes that is a sin
A person tells a "white" lie- yes that is a sin

Rom 3:23 - For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

Apparently Joel is right - any sin condemns us to Hell.

I suppose I would expound on that answer, but...

So there are no Christians in otherwise improper relationships? There are no Christians who are gluttons? There are no

The Scripture you allude to is referring to a profound heart change, not mere behavioral patterns. It's a part of the already-not yet nature of inaugurated eschatology. At the point of conversion we are radically changed, but the full ramifications of that change are not realized right away.

Therefore, we can be converted and still struggle with many of the temptations that previously had a hold on us.

If to be Christian was to never, ever act sub-Christian, then none of us would be.

I would say most Christians are very happy people.

Now a Christian who says he is a homosexaul is another story....
