Conservatives say if you lower the tax rate, revenue goes up.
Liberals say if you lower the tax rate, revenue goes down
So what facts would you show me that you have to back up your statement.
Not your opinion, don't just repeat what Rush,Glenn or Stephanie might say
But show me a link to a fact - actual facts - facts that will show me the full truth. Sure, it's easy to take one stat to prove your point - but convince me fully of your stand.
For what it is worth - I found this interesting link

I'm not sure why you need someone to cut and paste for you before you will believe something. I'm pretty sure you can do it for yourself.
Let me help you get started though. There are hundreds of studies that show exactly the same thing. Keep in mind, though, that if one's perspective include ONLY the current year, tax revenues are lower with a tax cut. The increase in tax revenues happen the following years.
That is why Democrats hate tax cuts - they have to behave themselves for one year while they wait on the revenues to increase along with the economy. Well, that, and that puts fewer needy people at their beckon call while unemployed.

So we're back to discussing the Laffer Curve, eh? :)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_public_debt is interesting.
The debt problem started with WW2 and the military-industrial complex convincing the good Christian suckers that it was our obligation to free/convert the entire world. In other words, a religious matter.
The problem with the laffer curve is there is no way to predict which side we are on. -
