    Of course not!
Sometimes I'll consult the precious 'Geneva Bible' —some of its notes are good for giggles.

May I ask the reason why you prefer the KJV? Thank you.

    Definitely prefer the NKJV.

2 Peter 2:3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make "merchandise of you": whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. [KJV] (try reading this verse aloud...)

2 Peter 2:3 By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber. [NKJV]

Job 36:33: The noise thereof sheweth concerning it, the cattle also concerning the vapor. [KJV]

Job 36:33 His thunder declares it, The cattle also, concerning the rising storm. [NKJV]

John 4:31 In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat.
32 But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of. [KJV]

John 4:31 In the meantime His disciples urged Him, saying, “Rabbi, eat.”
32 But He said to them, “I have food to eat of which you do not know.” [NKJV]

Exodus 5:19 And the officers of the children of Israel did see that they were in evil case, after it was said, Ye shall not minish ought from your bricks of your daily task. [KJV]

Exodus 5:19 And the officers of the children of Israel saw that they were in trouble after it was said, “You shall not reduce any bricks from your daily quota.” [NKJV]

1 Sam. 2:13 And the priest's custom with the people was, that, when any man offered sacrifice, the priest's servant came, while the flesh was in seething, with a fleshhook of three teeth in his hand; [KJV]

1 Sam 2:13 And the priests’ custom with the people was that when any man offered a sacrifice, the priest’s servant would come with a three-pronged fleshhook in his hand while the meat was boiling. [NKJV]

Yes, you may. Very briefly, the NKJV at times seems to make changes for the sake of change, the NKJV loses the singular/plural thee/ye, and, I am old and don't like change. :)

    NKJV.

If I believed the TR to better reflect the original NT writings, the NKJV would be my translation of choice.

The KJV. NKJV uses the same wrong modern translation in a number places. Such as Colossians 1:15 is the same as the NIV. Uses "over" for "of."

It is not accurate to say it was change for the sake of change. It was change due to the changes in English language.

David, I presented that as my opinion when Alexander asked why I prefer the KJV over the NKJV, and I answered him briefly. If you wish to prove that it is not change for change sake, feel free to do so (but, if so, in another thread in deference to Alexander). I will not change my opinion just because you say so. In this thread, your time might be better spent in giving a positive answer to the question asked.

    The only two readings.

    . . . πρωτοτοκος πασης κτισεως.
    . . . firstborn of all creation .

    . . . πρωτοτοκος πασης τος κτισεως.
. . . firstborn of all the creation.

I wonder if they just did that so they could get a copyright on their version?

Perhaps the KJV could also be claimed to seem to make changes in the pre-1611 English Bibles for the sake of change if the same measures/standards are applied.

Can all the changes that the KJV makes to the 1560 Geneva Bible be proven to be more accurate when compared to the preserved Scriptures in the original languages?

In many places where the NKJV differs from the KJV, it is the same or almost the same as the wording in the Geneva Bible.
