Again, please note how divisive this line of reasoning is. It implies that one isn't spiritual if they don't read the KJV, and that the KJV is the only
version of the Word of God, and that the other brother isn't even a soulwinner or interested in souls. This has been the typical attitude that I have experienced with KJVO peoples. It's wrong and divisive. It causes people to question their salvation, many to fall away and is counterproductive to the cause of Christ.
I personally was a KJV supporter until just recently. Why? Because of many in the KJV camp making statements like you have, implying that the KJV is the only correct version of the Word of God?[Brother Tony]
Dear B.T.~I never knew I belonged to a 'camp' until I started reading these threads-WOW! Just hope it's Confederate!
;)
All pickin' aside, the thing that touched me most in your post above is that this sounds exactly like our youngest son, Patrick, who was a Baptist all his life, but somewhere he backslid(even tho' he was an ordained deacon) & went straight into the arms of a "oneness" cult. I guess he's the one who broke the family circle, so to speak. Does this make him right & us wrong?
On a lighter note-we own a Chevy, as opposed to-uh,Ford, but I don't hold it against nobody if that's what they wanna try & drive-heehee!
"Ol'GrannyGumbo is a KJBO, which makes her pretty whack-o!"
:D
(I hate dem teef)!
