Sad and sickening. In light of the Great Gender Bathroom Wars of 2016, how do we respond?

In other words, what would you say to someone who brings this up if they say "why are you worried about transgender ppl in a bathroom? Seems like you have perverts in your churches."

Just because we stand against one thing doesn't meant that we don't stand against another thing. One of the lead voice in the SC bathroom issue is a convicted sex offender. So there is sin in both camps.
