Is it true that there was a figure in Greek mythology called Lazarus who rose from the dead? If so, does this raise questions on the story in John 11 about the man called Lazarus who was resurrected by Jesus? Or does it suggest that ancient Greek mythologians had some strange prophetic insight without realising it?

I am not aware of any Greek myth as you describe. However, there can be no doubt there are many persons in history with that name. The Lazerus in the New Testament is well documented by John to be a jew with sisters and a friend of Jesus.

It would seem that what you are really questioning is the validity of the inspiration of the New Testament or perhaps even the inspiration of the Scriptures as a whole?
