David Walker, comptroller general of the US, issued the unusually downbeat assessment of his country’s future in a report that lays out what he called “chilling long-term simulations”.

Unfortunately, with more people wanting to feed at the govt teat, and the govt willingly obliging, I don't see any prospect for a turn-around in my life time.

The bed-rock problem is not with finances though, but IMHO, the moral decline of the citizenry and the rejection of God by the populace!

Basically we've told God to leave us alone, and being the gentleman that He is, He has; we are now reaping the results.

    You nailed it.

The ongoing acceptance of the homosexual agenda, is as big or bigger an issue than the financial issues, IMO. Add in the socialistic direction we're headed and our future does not bode well.
