Would appreciate your prayers as I prepare to leave for an overseas mission trip. I was supposed to go with another pastor who has been to the place I am going to before, but something came up and he will not be able to go with me.
I will be speaking at two camps and a couple of churches as well as at some other secular venues.
Pray for safety, an understanding of the culture and language, and for the power of God to be upon me.
Thank you!

Praying for the safety of all concerned and for success.
Be open to all the God will be teaching you in another culture. A little travel gives a big education.
I remember when I was at the Baptist seminary in Moscow, Russia ... a Russian pastor told me his church had amost recovered from the last American pastor who have visited and spoken in his church several months before I met him. I do not know exactly what happened. The only thing the pastor would say was the American seemed unable to understand that American solutions did not bode well in the Russian culture. -
Yes, may the Lord deliver me from bringing up American "solutions". I plan to stick to the Plan- if you know what I mean. Thanks for your prayers. -
You've got it, my friend. I will also enlist my SS class as well as my pastor's class that I will be filling in for him Sunday. ;)

Thanks to all who prayed. I am once again home. God blessed in wonderful ways. The best of all was seeing 14 Ukrainian children and teenagers trust Christ as their Savior. This is "fruit to your account." God bless you!

I'm thankful that you made it home safely, and I look forward to meeting my new brothers and sisters in Christ one day.
