    I wasn't sure what to make of the beatdown. Elder abuse? The more I think about it, Trump probably had no choice. He had to fight for time, debating 2 instead of 1. Biden did get some lies in, but it appears now his side wants to call it quits.

    LEFTISTS CALL TO CANCEL DEBATES…

    This tells me probably a net gain for Trump. Not pretty, but worked.

    Debates don't accomplish anything do they?
    Diehard democrats would vote for a comatose Biden laying in a hospital bed, and be perfectly happy about a Harris administration.
    If people cant make up their minds about the issues, then they are either not being honest about the facts with themselves or they are stupid. You cant fix that.

    In a perfect world, I wanted a clean precision knockout. Didn't happen. This was a mean messy WWE brawl with the ref. involved and chairs flying. But nice would have been worse.

    Someone made the case on Fox that debates are NOT about convincing undecideds. They are about firing up the base, and this is, basically, a base election where enthusiasm matters. He therefore liked the scorch the earth approach. Don't know if he's right, but interesting.

    The devil has his children, that is true, and see that is why it is impossible to make someone change their minds about so many things, if they are under the sway of the evil one, that takes a deliverance coming from God's Holy Spirit to lead and guide them in all truth. The devil's lies are what his children believe, the devil is a liar and the father of it, when he speaks it is a lie. I am convinced people will go to their deaths believing in and following the lie.

    When people do not receive the love of the truth , then they're wide open to believe the lie, God sends on them strong delusion to believe the lie, since they are not of Him. They show themselves to be children of Satan. v47 Jesus says since they are not of the Father, they do not hear the truth, as in believe in Christ, in this application.
    John 8
    44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. 45 But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. 46 Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me?

    47 He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God.”

    8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

    11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,
    12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
