You are rewriting Scripture for your benefit.

I have. Please show me how Paul's prohibitions are being viewed out of context. You base your entire argument on you false belief that "neither Jew nor Greek, male no female" pertains to anything other than salvation. Get that passage IN Context and your entire web of nonsense falls apart.

MacArthur admits? You say that like he concedes something. He draws a distinction between the offices. He points out how to properly understand what was going on in the early Church.

Sorry I do not have the right to rewrite scripture, perhaps you were looking in a mirror. I just follow the text of scripture and see where it leads.

You deny the plain text, in context, of Scripture. Think what you want, you are in rebellion to Scripture. It is odd that your defense has evolved from saying The Holy Spirit could do as He wished (regardless of what the Pauline epistles say) to you are now claiming Paul supports your view. Make up your mind.

I find it amazing that you see men and women equal in salvation but not equal in service. So from your view women are second class as far as service to the body is concerned.

My view has not changed. Paul supports it, look at the text and the Holy Spirit supports it. You are locked into your view and just can not or will not allow yourself to see beyond that view.

Under church discipline they wouldn't be there to partake in communion in the first place.

Paul supports women preachers in church? Oh really? Chapter and verse please. Of course that would also mean he contradicted himself which means at least one part of inspired Scripture is wrong, which means we must throw it all out as in question. Good job.

Contrast what John MacArthur says about general servants in the very article you cited:

"1 Timothy 3 does not refer to servants in a general sense....Read verse 8: 'Deacons likewise'....An interpretive key to this verse is the word likewise. That word refers back to verse 1...'the office of overseer'....The word likewise indicates that deacons occupy a recognized office just as elders do."

"[in verse ]11....Again, the word likewise relates these women to an office of the church. It refers back to verse 1, and indicates that Paul was talking about the category of an office."

Certain classes if deacons hold an office.
