I’ll take a shot at it.

Lies, Evil and Chaos do not exist at all ... they are like “darkness” or “cold”.

There is no such thing as darkness. You cannot quantifiably measure it. Darkness is the absence of light. Light exists, but darkness does not. Darkness is merely the human perception of less light.

There is no such thing as cold. Heat is the measure of the energy of vibration contained in the atoms and molecules of a substance. You can measure how much heat something has. You cannot measure how much cold something has. Cold is merely the human perception of less heat.

Lies do not exist. There is only Truth (and God is truth). Lies are the perceived absence of truth in words or facts.

Evil does not exist. There is only Good (and God is good). Evil is the perceived absence of good in words, actions or circumstances.

Chaos does not exist. There is only Order (and God is order). Chaos is the perceived absence of order in any event or system.

So Lies, Evil and Chaos are not real things, rather they are the perceived absence of the characteristics of God (Truth, Good, Order) in His creation. Lies are really “less truth”, evil is “less good” and chaos is “less order”. Pure Lies, Evil and Chaos is really ... nothing ... the total absence of God’s attributes. That is “Hell” existence in nothingness.

Did God lie? ". . . I am the LORD, and there is none else. I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. . . ." -- Isaiah 45:7.

[Gen 1:1-5 NASB] 1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters. 3 Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light day, and the darkness He called night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day.

    What did God create?
What is darkness? How much darkness does it take to extinguish the light of a candle?

There was darkness and chaos, and God arrived bringing light and order. Darkness and chaos are the absence of God. Light and Order come with the presence of God.

No, God did not lie. How does God create “night”: By removing the light.

Want to see it happen in people ...

    [Rom 1:24, 26, 28 NASB]
24 Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them. ...
26 For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, ...
28 And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper,

Here we have God removing the “light” of His “goodness” from a human heart and leaving them stumbling around in the “darkness” and “evil” left by His absence.

God is the metphor for light, 1 John 1:5. God's light is His Son through wbom He created all things, John 1:1-3; John 1:9-10; Hebrews 1:2-3. Understand prior to creation of anything there was just God and His Light. So for creation light for it was given form and for the formed light from created matter darkness needed to be created.

Cold arises from the lack of heat.
Darkness arises from the lack of light.
Evil arises from the lack of good (Luke 18:19).
