I think it is rather silly to blame Rush Limbaugh since he didn't have anything to do with it. Republicans who voted in the Democratic Party pretty much voted the same way as the rest of the voters in that primary.
I wonder if anyone's chances were hurt on the GOP side in races in the Republican primary from statewide office on down to the local level by whatever number of Republicans voted in the other party's primary. -
Rush Limbaugh gets WAY too much credit.
Unless he is right and America is fill of empty minded ditto-heads. -

Blame or credit?

I haven't seen any evidence that this is anything other than just a tight race with two polarizing candidates. Granted Limbaugh may have contributed something with the polls as close as they are, but with a 200,000 vote surplus in North Carolina Obama wrapped this one up on his own regardless of any scant influence El Rushbo had in Indiana.

Obama Backers Blame Limbaugh for Clinton Indiana Win
Rush Limbaugh's "Operation Chaos" -- a tactic that calls on Republicans to vote for Hillary Clinton in the Democratic primaries to keep her in the race where she will "bloody" Barack Obama and cause primary mayhem in general -- is apparently working, according to the Obama campaign. The campaign said that the tactic helped Clinton win the Indiana primary on Tuesday.

I don't think it's about who gets nominated, for Rush. It's about him having as much fun as he can before they clamp the fairness doctrine on him.
But didn't Obama himself even aknowledge Limbaugh's influence ? I don't really think Indiana would have gone Hillary without the crossover votes, seeing's how the margin was so close.
But I will be very suprised to see Clinton drop out before Virginia's results. -
