of the St. Louis Rams, based on a lie perpetrated by the state-run media, demands from the slimaballs Al Sharpton & Jessie Jackson and bigotry from the left, in general. So I thought I'd start a thread to give folks a chance to belch their gloating & hatred towards the man.
Limbaugh dropped from ownership bid....

There were some outright lies told about him in this latest smear. The race pimps and baiters are alive and well in this country.
-
It's a private firm. They can choose to include or exclude whomever they want in regards to who will be an ownership partner. That said, Sharpton & Jackson should be the last people on earth to accuse anyone of racism, given that they themselves have engaged in racist comments and actions numerous times. (see Jesse Jackson's "Hymietown" remark as a simple example).
-
I personally do not want to be around when those guys face the Almighty. (Speaking of the "Reverends".)
-
Did Rush do something horrible like beat his wife, kill dogs, DWI, or something. If thats the case, I agree with the NFL, they would never want people like that associated with the league.
-
But that doesn't give Sharpton & Jackson a leg to stand on, given that they themselves have engaged in racist comments and actions numerous times. (see Jesse Jackson's "Hymietown" remark as a simple example). -

Part of the free market. It does give Rush something to talk about though...I guess I don't listen to talk radio (well other than NPR.)
I think the accusations against him are ridiculous. Really it did showcase the absolute hypocrisy of the leftist side. Just reinforces the divisions in this country. If Rush wants to buy a team let him buy it. If the investors don't feel that he would promote unity than they can drop him.
While I don't care for Rush I do respect that he is not a racist. He's just got a chronic case of foot-in-mouth disease. -
There are plenty of mega-rich people to own NFL teams.
Has Rush Limbaugh ever apologized for any of his remarks? I don't have anything in particular in mind, just a general question. I can't imagine someone talking on the radio or TV for hours every week and not needing to apologize for some mess up along the way, even if said unintentionally. -
-
I seldom listen to Rush (maybe once a month, for a few minutes. Then I get bored). But he has a good case of slander, or defamation of character.
It just proves the double standard that exists. Professional victims and pseudo-reverends can say/do anything...with no consequences. -

I was wondering the same thing.

I don't know why there is such an uproar, as Rush would only have been a limited partner. See link from the Wall Street Journal -

I imagine if I spent 15 hours a week talking on the radio(about anything) I wouldn't be surprised if I had to apologize for something on a daily basis. :)
As the Bible tells us - the tongue is very difficult to tame. -

I have him apologize occasionally... and I don't listen very often.. I like Glenn Beck myself...
