I'm not going to defend RD2's behavior, but I can't believe you all are having such a fit when the rudest, most arrogant person I've ever seen on this board, Alex Q belittled anyone who disagreed with him and yet you never said a word. Sounds like double standards to me.

I don't think that makes a difference at all. Wrong is wrong, and if you are going to call out people for not having your back, you sure better be doing the same thing.

 

I know exactly who I am referring to. NP and I had words in my early BB days. We apologized and we were friends after that. I have been friends with most people on the BB including you and you have been quite a challenge at times, but AQ was by FAR the worst I've ever seen on this board and he only got worse and worse. There was not an ounce of grace in him.
Surely you're not defending him.

That's really irrelevant. We are talking about you not sticking up for the MANY his vitriolic rants affected, and THEN calling out those who do the same for you.

It's comments like this that really tick me off. Just because 2 people disagree theologically, some have to take it personally (as I am assuming you meant by me being a "challenge").

It's almost like one person has their view challenged, and they feel a need to rip into the one challenging their view.

 

I agree with you.

Except since the Lord made males and females different, and with different roles, I believe we are to protect the females more than the males. And have more patience. We are to relate to them differently overall.

You have no idea what I did regarding NP.

My point is that you have raked RD2 over the coals, but you didn't say a word when AQ was insulting people right and left. I'd say that's because you never had a run in with him personally.

RD2 hasn't done anything even in the league with AQ's nastiness.

I realize that this forum is not like "real" life situations, but I still believe men should treat women with respect regardless of the medium used in conversation. I wasn't the only female Q attacked.

 

I don't recall AQ calling you Amygod! I do know that publically you did nothing in regards to NP, or we would be able to read it. What you state AQ did was done twofold by NP on a DAILY basis. I guess you are blind to it, though, or choose to look the other way.
