Marlene Evans, gone to be with the Lord

    Sunday after noon, July 8, 2001, Mrs. Marlene Evans, the wife of Hyles-Anderson College president, Dr. Wendell Evans, was finally the victum of her many years battle with cancer. She is nationally known for her annual Ladies Spectacular and the Christian Womanhood paper. Funeral plans are incomplete at this time. Any flowers may be sent to the First Baptist Church, 523 Sibley, Hammond, IN 46320. Cards may be sent to Dr. Wendell Evans, c/o Hyles-Anderson College, 8400 Burr St., Crown Point, IN 46307. Thank God for Heaven!
