Ain't gonna happen; they are in a "feeding frenzy" right now!!

Might as well tell a whale to go from the Pacific to the Atlantic via Denver!

It will. They will just do a Clinton did and pick areas not important to their socialist agenda. Specifically the military or intelligence.

For the same reason people were allowed to call Bush a liar - they are both public figures and politicians, not members of the board, and they all lie. However, should Obama or Bush join the BB, personal attacks against them as members will not be permitted. Don't hold your breath.

Yes, Andy had it right - there is a difference between calling someone a liar and merely saying they lied. One is slander, the other is not.

LE... You're loosing your fairness here... I said he misrepresented Obama statements and that's slander vs. him saying "Why do you keep repeating this blatant lie? You need to repent of this." But that's ok.

I did not, I said the Bush tax cuts Obama will reverse are the ones that help the rich. I said you won't see a tax increase.

And for the record, I don't care if the mods unfairly side with you, "Why do you keep repeating this blatant lie?" is calling me a liar and that's a fact...

No, you didn't. You said, "The Bush tax cuts were not for you, they were for the rich." And you've made similar statements how Bush's tax policy only helped the rich. I see nothing in those statements about just the Bush tax cuts that Obama will let expire. I assume you now want to clarify your statements and admit that just some of the Bush tax cuts were for the rich, but there were also many more tax cuts that were for the non-rich. That's fine - thanks for the clarification. BTW, if Congress and Obama makes the tax cuts for the non-rich permanent before they expire at the end of 2010, just remember whose idea those tax cuts were - they were George W. Bush's. And those tax cuts for the middle class were much, much deeper than the pittance Obama is offering in his plan.

And all that I have said is, let's wait and see. You take his word as a stone-cold lock. I know that he is a politician and a mere man. So again, I have not misrepresented anything Obama said. I know what he said; now I'm just waiting to see what he'll actually do.

As long as you clarify in your future condemnations of GW Bush (and yes, I'm sure there will be legion upon legion of them) that some of his tax cuts were for the rich, but many of his tax cuts were for the middle class, then I have no quibble with you.

Wait a minute. You previously insisted that he didn't promise a tax cut to 95%. You said he promised not to raise taxes on 95%.

What we are seeing is what happens when you continually try to justify something. You get your stories mixed up. Better just to say the truth up front and then you don't have to worry about getting caught getting them mixed up.

The truth is that Obama said he would cut taxes for 95% of America (even though 95% of American doesn't pay taxes ... the percentage is far less than that).
Then he said he wouldn't raise taxes on 95% of America.
Then he said he would cut them for 95% of working Americans.

The fact is that Obama can't even keep it straight about what he wants to do.
