Facing Ethics Charges, Rep. Waters Points Finger at Bush Administration

Embattled Rep. Maxine Waters on Friday blamed the Bush administration for her ethics problems -- saying she had to intervene with the Treasury Department on behalf of minority-owned banks seeking federal bailout funds -- including one tied to her husband -- because the Treasury Department wouldn't schedule its own appointments.
You need to learn, don't you know everything is Bush' s fault. I cut myself shaving this morning and that was Bush's fault, my wife burnt the biscuits this morning and that must have been Bush's fault, too.
The last album recorded by Alison Krauss & Union Station was in 2004 so it must be George W. Bush's fault that they did record together the rest of the decade. Now they are back in the studio together recording a new album so the credit must go to Barack Obama(who also listened to them perform in the White House last year).
Carpro.....I sincerely hope you despise the Corporate Crook Communist Wall Street Bankers as much as you appear to despise the liberals. These Banksters are an even bigger threat to our country as these clown liberal politicians that give them license to wreck our economy in the continued pursuit of personal wealth.
I won't even pretend to understand what this conglomeration of names means.
Not disagreeing with you...but specifics, please?
Again, specifics?
And, I think you drew the fine line properly...
Unfortunately, many on the left seem to think that making a profit is evil.
You seem to get it right--profit-seeking isn't evil, as long as one doesn't break laws to do so.
But I'll be the first to admit that I will hold reprobates like Maxine Waters to a higher standard...because they are in power, and they are (supposedly) public servants.
And yes, throw the book at any of them--D's or R's--who are breaking the law to get ahead, or using their position for the same.
Corporate Communists & Banksters are politicians (working hand in hand with Wall Street) who supported the Wall Street Bailout. They not only voted for billion dollar bailouts for companies that were about to fail due to their own terrible decisions, but then subsequently have done nothing to prevent the ongoing and future theft. By destroying this very tenant of capitalism -- that the losers actually lose so that new ideas, people, companies can become winners -- they have now crippled our economy and kept millions out of work.
But Bob, you don't realize that it was a subconcious thing. You and your wife are still distraught about the Bush administration and it's failures that is why you cut yourself and your wife burned the biscuits.
What you both need to do is contemplate this administrations successes.
