The Lottery for 1 August will be about 1 Billion dollars
(the Feds take 25%) States/Commonwealth will take anything from 0-9%
Take home B4 taxes is around 500 million (for full amount - based over 20 years)
So - if you won that and took it over 20 years - = 50 million / year B4 taxes
If you did win - would you take it in one shot - or over 20 years
What would you do with you 30 million or so per year?
Would you keep playing?

Answers such as "Its a sin to buy a lottery ticket"
I would never play the lottery, ect
will NOT be acceptable
This thread is for fun!
Even if you would not buy a ticket - suppose someone gave you a ticket!
If you want to mention that you plan to buy a ticket is okay
and the admin team will not ban you (well, I cant speak for Scarlett!

If I won such a contest, I would take it as a lump sum(especially at my age).
If I won that kind of money, I have no idea what I would do, and I really don't think I would want the headaches associated with having such an amount of money at my age.
But if I won that kind of money, I would probably look into thinks like having Grace Baptist Church of Ruston have a weekly TV show and local radio commercials to proclaim the gospel of Christ. -
It is now 1.5 billion!
Your chances of winning:
The odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot is 1 in 302.6 million
The Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. ET. You pick five numbers between 1-70 for the white balls and select one number between 1-25 for the yellow Mega Ball. Match all five white balls in any order and pick the correct yellow ball, and you're a jackpot winner -
It’s a sick amount of money.
Something only a politician could spend.
My odds of winning are only slightly diminished by my refusal to purchase a ticket.
That being said, my coworkers sometimes purchase a chance for me so I wouldn’t be left holding down the fort when they win.
Lump sum. I’d insure my kids and grandkids have a good home and education.
Endow a Christian University or three
Fund Christian education in intercity locations.
Anything left over I’d use to fill the potholes in my town…might not be enough!
