This is a personal experience:
A few years back, I was taking a variety of theology classes. One the classes was on Biblical counselling. During the class, a thirty-something fellow student and I were assigned to interview my pastor on this subject. We arrived a bit early, and waited the arrival of the pastor in his office.
My pastor had a large portrait of Charles Hadon Spurgeon on one wall of his office.
The young man who came with me studied the picture carefully. Then he looked at me. Then back at the picture. Finally he said, tentatively, "Why does your pastor have a portrait of you in his office?"
Note: I would gladly trade looking less like Spurgeon for actually being more like Spurgeon!

I have been mistaken for the janitor in Spurgeon's church.
