Thanx for the heads up. There's no way I'm going to read another election cycle of your vitriolic hatred of the man and his supporters.
-
Lucky for me I can call your lie what it is. So you go ahead and once again throw your support behind a man who rejects Jesus and I'll go ahead and remind you and your brethren just how disgustingly disgraceful it is for a follower of Jesus Christ to do so.
And it that qualifies as vitriolic hate for ya,I'm gonna press on and magnify the name of Jesus while you and your fellow Romneyites magnify the name of the one who is against Christ. -
Romney's move, after repeatedly saying he wasn't seeking the White House for a third time, could shake up the Republican field and comes as Jeb Bush has been taking steps toward a likely campaign for the White House.
Anyone but Jeb Bush. -

Maybe a run as a Democrat? -
Wait - my thinking is that we are electing a Commander-in-Chief - - - NOT a pastor in Chief.
I was in two business partnership - one was a Baptist preacher - the other was basically an atheist.
The Baptist preacher stabbed me in the back - and I lost virtually everything.
The ONLY regret I have with the atheist is that I was not more of a witness to Larry, as he passed into a Christless eternity a few years ago.
Remember - Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton were both Southern Baptist - that did NOT make them a good POTUS.
I will be looking at the record and platform of the next set of candidates. -

Here's the thing Zaac - once it's on the internet, it's there forever.
It took me about two minutes to find this.
Someone back in 2012 right after the election said that "some people didn't vote for Romney BECAUSE he was a Mormon".
Here was your response.
At the very LEAST, that IS vitriolic. Vitriol being in in it's true definition a hard and bitter criticism.
At WORST, you have gone from the vitriolic into the realm of actual hatred.
I know you will weasel your way out of this one and turn it around to say that you didn't say that ..... but there it is in black and white.
And in your above post you have accused those who may support Romney (and good gravy, Zaac, we don't even know if he is running!) as people who will be "magnifying the name" of an anti-Christ while you as the proper and good little Christian will "press on" and magnify the name of Jesus.
Again, you link those who voted for Romney in the past as those who would desire for him to run now and have made all of us look like idolators and put yourself as island unto yourself as the only real Christian.
We do not live in a theocracy. We are not charged in the Bible to vote only for people who worship God.
Sometimes, the candidates (ALL of the them) are very flawed. We should seek to put into office those who most closely resemble one who has our own values AND who will do the job the most competent manner. Sometimes that's not easy to find. I've only abstained once in my life and will never do it again. God put Pharaoh in authority as an evil leader for a purpose. At this point, I believe that God has done that again with Obama. It's not always in God's plan to put a Christian in office as leader of the free world. God's plans are His plans. We can't always know those massively supernatural plans. But we can vote our conscience.
I'm sort of hoping that Romney doesn't run. He's had his chance and lost.
I don't know why you started this thread except to incite a riot.
My evidence of that is your post #3. Curtis claimed you had some vitriol in you based on previous conversations about Romney and you proved him right.
You have declared us all who voted for Romney to be supportive of him now and to be unsaved as evidenced by our vote.. -

Pray for him because God says so. But he deserved no more support from Christians than did the Jesus Christ rejecting Mormon, Mitt Romney.

(this was your only comment even worth answering.) -

Lack of morality ? What ?

It's vitriolic if , like yourself, you've got an axe to grind and want to claim I said something I did not say. You're making yourself look pretty silly.
Yes, white privilege also likes to try and reframe the truth and to garner the approval of others. But that doesn't wash with me.
So go ahead and do your disappearing act. And save your lies.
Pure hypocrisy and pure foolishness for the same folks who spoke of Barack Obama being influenced by the wickedness he heard under Jeremiah Wright for 20 years denying the same about a man who has practiced idolatry and rejecting Jesus Christ on purpose for at least the last 50 years.
So yes supporting him will magnify the name of that which is against Christ.
Just further proof that many in the church have lost their way when it comes to politics. We are to FIRST seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness.
What values do you who are indwelled by the Holy Spirit have in common with one who rejects Jesus Christ? Scripture tells us Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 2 Cor. 6:14
The undergirding principle is not just about marriage.
Bump all this compromise and seeking to put into office those who most closely resemble one who has our own values AND who will do the job the most competent manner.
None of that is BIBLICAL. God says to seek HIS KINGDOM FIRST. He doesn't say try to win an election.
How dare we complain about all the immorality and wickedness that is taking over the world and then turn around to support as the leader of the free world someone who rejects Jesus Christ. Many in the church should still be on their knees repenting of this wickedness.
But the many in the church are just unhumble enough to do it again and then complain for the next four years about why they seemingly keep getting more of the very things they say they don't want.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33
Who said we're supposed to find that? Often I think we're too busy looking for a man to fix things here that we take our eyes off eternity
That would be like Him telling the Israelites to go ahead and worship the golden calf.

The morality of the Christian is based in Christ. -

Like I said, I'm not putting up with it.
See you folks in 2017.
Scarlett, you are wasting your time. It is a sin to even engage this hateful man. You've got more grace in your pinky than he has ever shown. I'll miss ya.
Take care. We share a birthday, you know.:wavey: -

I said morality. There's a difference.
But in case you're wondering.

Are there any born again Christians being mentioned for 2016? Is there even one?
Has there been any? Ever?
