A new documentary about the life of Mitt Romney reveals a loosely hidden truth: Romney and his followers “had to steal” the Republican nomination from Dr. Ron Paul during the 2012 Presidential Elections.
The documentary, called “Mitt,” was aired at the Sundance Film Festival. Near the end, Romney states:
“In some ways we kind of had to steal the Republican nomination. Our party is Southern, evangelical, and populist. And you’re Northern, and you’re a Mormon, and you’re rich. And these do not match well with our party.”
Pretty ambivalent for a global bank shill. I prefer my very rich, Northern white guys with a little more backbone. He could've ordered one through Monsanto.
Romney is being nice, as always.
Ron Paul had a million runs at the White House, each time with diminishing returns.
Half the GOP would have walked out on that old Libertarian.
If the Libertarian Party is so hot, why did Paul leave it?
Afterall, it is the party of Drudge.
I was talking to a guy years ago, personal conversation, and it was so obvious where he stood politically. Asked him why he ran as a republican. He said "Because I'd never win running as a democrat in these parts."
It amused me that nobody could tell the difference. I still wonder just how many people run on whatever ticket works best for them.
Don't get the wrong idea. Just because both presidential nominees were bought by Goldman Sachs and Monsanto doesn't mean the banks and corporations control the government. It just ain't so. Just ask ITL and TND they'll tell ya.
