If you would have the decency to reply to me, I would have an alert and know a post was made to reply to.

God is Love. I have nothing theologically hard to reconcile with that. You are the one with that problem. God ordered killing of civilians. God ordered scorched earth. God ordered killing of livestock. God ordered killing non combatant women. God ordered killing children. God ordered killing babies. Are the men who carried out His orders war criminals and butchers by your standards? Seems to me that God ordered total warfare. He became angered when His command was disobeyed. As a side note, had Israel followed His instructions of Total warfare to the letter, 99% of their problems today would not exist.
You reconcile that to your version of "God is Love" and reconcile it to your postings.

I don't believe in that kind of god: the first sentence of your paragraph above is utterly at odds with the rest of it. No being who orders the killing of babies is coming anywhere near my children, whether that's the abortioner or your version of god.

Not all of it; some though is clearly allegory and meant to be read that way. You can take it all seriously or you can take it all literally but not both.

I said nothing about abortion. I said state ordered death. Like when the euro elite decided that little child couldn’t be saved and refused to let anyone else try. You were behind that, as I remember.

I like others, find your self piety disgusting and I am ashamed of the way you throw my Savior’s name around.

Personal attacks are not permitted here as I recall.

The child concerned was dying. He wasn't killed. And it was the courts that made the decision not the State

You must not believe in God. Jehovah plainly commanded all that. Please explain I Samuel 15 to me. Its literal. There is no other way to interpret it but literal. What god do you believe in? I Sam 15 is very consistent with other battle commands given by Him.

On a side note, do you think you can stop Jehovah from going anywhere? If you do, you have lost your mind.

Since when did the courts become independent of the State? They interpret the laws of the State. Who pays the bill to operate the courts? The courts collect taxes?

Do I believe that God is a genocidal maniac like Hitler? No, never! Do you?

The courts hold the State to account when necessary. Ever heard of judicial review? Judicial review - Wikipedia

I don't find anything remotely funny about exterminating an entire people group.

You claimed that the courts are not independent of the State. In that case, how come judicial review?

    Who pays for the Courts?
Whose laws do the courts interpret?
Who executes the orders of the courts?
The Courts are a part of the State. They are a branch of the State.
