The military is under-reporting the number of times that Afghan soldiers and police open fire on American and other foreign troops....

The military "under reports" alot of things. So does the corporate media.
The death of Matt Tillman, now there was cover up. The miltary didn't under report that it out and out lied and the corporate media backed the military up by spreading it's lies without question.

Think you meant "Pat" Tillman.
Let's not forget the "over-reporting" during Viet Nam.

No, his name is actually Matt. It's just a vast conspiracy that the government and mass media doesn't like people named Matt, so they changed it to Pat. Remember, you can't believe anything they say!

My guess is that the military is reporting accurately to the White House and being told what statistics to release to the public.

In my opinion, it's more likely the guys in the field are reporting accurately. Then it gets filtered at higher levels -- probably in accordance with reporting procedures directed from higher up.
