You mean the current administration doesn't respect free speech ? And exactly who isn't being Christ-like ? I'm getting really tired of people throwing his name around whenever they don't like what's being talked about.

The question was asked "Just who on this Forum is advocating armed rebellion against the lawful government of the United States?"

I pointed out posts that easily could be interpreted as doing just that. If someone came here searching for answers about Christ, and if they got the impression we were supporting such a thing, that wouldn't be a very Christ like example to them. What is so hard to understand about that? Lastly what does this have to do with free speech?

You;re confused. Go back and read the thread. I was challenging someone else who claimed that the "liberals" on this thread had advocated the murder of VP Cheney. Thanks for proving my point. Now go after the right person please.

I'm not going to waste my time scanning the posts again just to "see"---why don't you post the thread and post #'s for us!!

I can't help how people interpret posts any more than I can help how you interpret my posts. No one here has advocated an "armed rebellion against the lawful government of the United States." Those are YOUR words, not mine. It sounds like you have the problem in reading what has been posted and make unneccessary leaps into fantasy.

If people came here searching for answers about Christ, I seriously doubt they would spend much time in the Politics Forum. And if they did, they would see some very un-Christlike, un-Biblical positions such as defending those who murder the unborn. And a lot of personal attacks on other members that are deleted and edited almost daily.

It sounds like you are against free speech when it comes to your man. Sorry, Obama hasn't done away with that Constitutional right.....yet. Until then, I will retain that right under the trampled and tattered US Constitution.

If you want to start a thread about First Amendment Rights, please do so. This thread is about the 2nd Amendment. Back on topic, please.

I find it hard to understand how any of you can still believe we have a lawful government in the United States.

Look around y'all...the private banks and corporations have taken the place of lawful government in these United States.

A quote taken from the "GM's Wagoner Asked to Step Aside " thread

But this is not suprising when the tenor is set from the moderator of the political forums.

I was hoping as the moderator you would be objective and maybe take something from this, obviously I was wrong.

Moderators are allowed to have an opinion too. In my opinion of course.

When the tenor is set? Give it a rest. You are placing more responsibility and blame on LE for your personally perceived idea than is right or necessary. The current government is not acting lawfully. They do not just get to do what ever they want to. But they think they can. Any government that stops acting lawfully is no longer a lawful government.

If I have offended LE or anyone else I apologize, not my motive, not my intention. And if you feel the government is acting unlawful, debate all you would like, I don't have a problem with solid debate on the issues. I just can't help though to be offended, and uncomfortable by all the taking up arms, and needing more ammo against Obama's tyranny talk. I think it is uncalled for, unwise, and probably not in the best interest of the Baptist Board. But I have made my point, and if the ownership of this site is comfortable with this type of dialog, far be it for me to worry about it much further. I was just trying to help bring the talk back to the issues, and not spin off into something that might be regretted after the fact.

And not only that any rebellion against Obama and the gubment is doomed to failure before it even gets started. They ain't the ones running the show. The international bankers, the high falutin coporitos and the military industrial complex hold all the real power. Folks like Obama the Bushies and the Clintons are just the sales staff. This should be painfully obvious to everyone by now. Rebelling against the elite's little propped up puppet minnions like Obama would be like trying to overthrow Wal Mart by attacking it's "associates".

Doomed to failure from the git go not to mention extremely stupid and a complete waste of time and energy.

Actually what others have said and what you read into what they have said is a loose association at best. ......I've seen a lot of that lately on BB. Loose associations are not reality except for the person who has them..... and it is symtomatic of mental illness.....

Some folks here need a reality check.

You are trying to police other people's thoughts.... but are reading into their statements more than is said.

The examples you cited are not revolutionary speech!

Personally I think anyone looking for Christ on the BB would do better search through forums more related to that search than reading the political or current news forum.

Mental illness? Haha no, I can assure that I am very stable and doing just fine.

I learned a long time ago that those that have to resort to personal insults have no valid arguments in a debate, and usually very little comprehension of the issue at hand.

If you go back and try to improve your your reading comprehension of my posts you would understand that I am not trying to police or read into anyones thoughts at all. I even stated that I doubted that those actions were the persons true intentions, but rather just all talk. However that doesn't mean that the wording is both unwise, uncalled for and not without some risk of undesirable consequences, and that the issue shouldn't have been raised. If for no other reason, but to have a little restraint out of respect for the owner of the site. Not of our thoughts as you suggest, but of our words.

As far as those coming to this site looking for answers about Christ. I often find that when people do, they are looking at us with the most critical eyes, at not only what we preach, but our actions, our conduct throughout our daily lives. I don't think they would be impressed that they were told where on the site they should look and where they should not look in order to view us as examples. That would be like telling someone come and watch me only at church on Sunday, but don't pay any attention to how I conduct myself during the week.

    Here I'm assuming the worse.

I bought the last 2 boxes of 9mm a couple weeks ago at our Bi-Mart... I think the primary value in buying all these guns and ammo are as a sign to big brother that we actually mean business... I do doubt, however that more than a few will actually use weapons against authority... More likely against anarchy and the roaming hoards after their food....

We don't plan on using weapons at all in defense of our food. only to defend life. God has provided, and he will continue till we are gone, or give us the grace needed to live or die without food... Subject to change, do to old nature..
