Preface:
It is quite obvious that here are
2 opposing sets of verses re: OSAS.
Herein lies one possible explanation
which I have been aware of for many months.
(1) OSAS is true, but there are NT verses which
suggest that one can lose his/her salvation.
(2) The Lord has led me to stress these verses.
(3) He desires that believers clean up their act
re: obedience, righteousness, holiness, etc.
(See the Laodicean church in Revelation 3.)
(4) He desires the many seats closer to God's throne
to be occupied by deserving believers (re: rewards?).
Not everyone needs to sit in the back row of heaven.
This is totally opposed to God's will for eternity!
(5) So, if OSAS is true, the dire warnings about falling away
from the faith and losing salvation are merely bluffs.
I see this as a possibility.
