Because Randall's statement is consistent with other outrageous statements ... i.e. the lady, Sharron Angle, running in Nevada who said, "Reid should be taken out."
To couple the words Second Amendment remedies with "take Harry Reid out," is calling for the murder of a Senator. The quote in not taken out of context. It is there in the same paragraph.
A few years ago former President Bill Clinton was speaking when a group of the 9/11 conspiracy folks began protesting saying that the American government was behind 9/11. President Clinton's response was simply, "how dare you". And that is my response to right wing and left wing nut cases like Bill Randall. How dare you make such wild accusations with no proof? Let's take a moment and examine some of his statements:
He has no proof but that is not stopping him from saying this publicly. In other words, he has no facts or truth but he is still going to say it. This is the type of person, conservative or liberal, that we need to keep out of any government position. We need people who depend upon, cite, and follow the truth and solid evidence. Anyone who says, "I don't have any proof, but..." is dangerous (imho).
Again an admission that he has not facts, no truth. Btw, I abhor it when someone says "I feel". No!!! Do you feel or do you think? There is a difference. We need people in government who run off facts, not feelings.
I think we can stop there. Anything this guy says after admitting he has no proof is irrelevant. These tea party folks are getting scary. They are doing the very same thing the left did during the Bush years. Maybe Bill Randall and Michael Moore should get together? They should get along great considering that both of them are radicals.
Thank you for the common sense and honest post.
Most all the other posts show the total lack of understanding of government, issues, and politics that permeates this board.
Its the same old back and forth Democrat vs Republican garbage.
Those engaging in such are so blinded they cannot see their rights, liberties, money, and Constitutional government being taken away right under their noses.
Because people grow weary of Democratic and Republican apologists diverting the debate away from what really divides this country.
People get tired of both parties expanding government, wasting our money, and stealing from the American people daily, then having the gall to create a false debate when both are doing the same thing.
Don't you worry, there are plenty of apologists in this thread to back up both sides.
Some people grow weary of your continued one tune song about the evils of both the republicans and the democrats.
Every time someone post anything in politics, here you come with your superior attitude as though you, by your own intellect, have such superior morals and beliefs as to never fall into either camp.
You evidently don't have the right answers because nothing is changing, there will be either a democrat or a republican in the White House and in control of Congress for probably the next 50 years.
BTW, this story would be just as interesting and bizarre this politican were a democrat.
What I found unusual is his thinking that the government and BP conspired to create this oil spill.
At least my one tune song is in tune.
If you do not have the intellect to see past your nose tip, do not blame me.
In my post, I did not mention one name.
Since you were so quick to chime in, well, there you are.
