Boeing builds planes in China. And China is now building their own jet liner, the Comac C919 (think of a 737 copy).

"China builds horizontal stabilizers, vertical fins, the aft tail section, doors, wing panels, wire harnesses and other parts on the Next-Generation 737. China also produces the rudder for the 737 MAX, a more fuel-efficient version of the best-selling 737 airplanes.

China contributes trailing edge wing ribs, horizontal stabilizers, vertical fins, ailerons, spoilers and inboard flaps for the 747-8. In addition, China has an important role on the 787 building the rudder, wing-to-body fairing panels, leading edge and panels for the vertical fin, and other composite parts.

China is the first conversion location for the new 747-400 Boeing Converted Freighter. Parts and assemblies are built in China; conversion, test and certification are performed in China; and airplanes are delivered from Xiamen, China. Boeing partners with more than 35 major Chinese firms as direct contractors on this production and also with hundreds of Chinese subcontractors."

 

As far as the Wall, Trump could always threaten to veto some other Bill, unless money is added for the Wall

 

He has to veto this bill, and get the poison amendments out of it, or he will be a failed one term President. This bill has several things that directly contradict the positions of his strongest supporters.

 

President Trump jolted Washington on Friday when he began the day tweeting that he might veto a massive spending bill needed to prevent a government shutdown — and then appearing in front of cameras five hours later to say that he had signed the legislation.

... “I looked very seriously at the veto,” Trump told reporters. “I was thinking about doing the veto. But because of the incredible gains that we've been able to make for the military, that overrode any of our thinking.”

On Thursday, administration officials and congressional leaders said that the president would sign the bill — even though for days he had privately complained about the package in late-night phone calls and early morning rants — and the White House issued a news release touting its accomplishments.

... At times he went so far as to portray himself as being almost helpless and having little choice but to accept the spending package.

... The president’s unhappiness was fueled Friday morning, as it often is, with Trump in the residence watching “Fox and Friends.” For days, he heard that Republicans were getting rolled in the spending negotiations, and that message was now being delivered by his favorite morning show.

He just signed away any chance of getting re-elected, and probably signed away control of both the House and the Senate, which means he will not be able to appoint a conservative Supreme Court Justice as he will have lost the Republican majority to confirm. The man must be brain dead!
