(The Politico)John Murtha (D-Pa.) acknowledged that the surge of U.S. troops in Iraq is “working” after returning from a brief trip to Iraq last week, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Someone astutely noted that these radical leftists would begin to move right, recognizing they they, in all probability would inherit this war on terror, and must be politically positioned for it.
Murtha's political statements to this point have been atrocious, bordering on treason.
This points out Murtha's lack of a moral compass.
By golly, if you believe in something, stick by it.
He is just like Romney.
A ship without a rudder, driven by the wind.
Not only is he guilty of treason, he is a liar to boot.
Disagreeing with you and President Bush's policies is not aiding and abetting and giving comfort to the enemy, nor is it not supporting the troops.
If you have a problem with representative government, then there are other countries that have an authoritarian form of government where disagreement with the Leader is not permitted.
He should have put the blame where it belongs. On the neocons who believe anything goes in their quest for military and economic domination of the whole world. These are the people who should be tried for treason. Starting another undeclared war...nation building experiment on dubious if not outright fabricated evidence and putting us at even more risk by increasing the threat to our nation through the use of military intimidation and economically punishing those who disagree with their un American anti freedom globalist one worlder policies.
Maybe treason or traitor is the wrong word, because he did not conspire with the enemy.
However, this shows the kind of emotion someone like this brings out.
This reminds us, and will we ever learn?
One does not debate whether or how we got into a war after we are in it, one debates it before ever entering the war.
Next time, maybe we will catch on.
It is not the army or marines fault for any flawed decisions made.
They are doing their job to protect us, and we are all forever in their debt.
