I visited the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial, a sobering place giving the names of if nor all then almost all the names of law enforcement officers killed.

The next time you are in DC visit the memorial. It is not visited often by tourists, but should be. It is near the Gallery Place subway stop.

One of the statements engraved upon this memorial is that of Proverbs 28:1 ---

The wicked flee when no man purseth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.
