NCAA Tournament Pick-em!

I know that 64 teams will begin a week from Thursday. What dates will the 32 teams from that play, the sweet 16; the 8 the like? Thanks

Actually it will be 65 teams! hThere is a so-called "play-in game for Tuesday when the lowest two seeded teams get to play in Dayton for the right to be the "sacrificial lamb" to the overall No. 1 seed on either Thursday or Friday. The 32 teams winning on Thursday and Friday face off on Saturday and Sunday to get the "Sweet Sixteen"; the following week, the "Sweet Sixteen" play in four Regionals (Thursday thru Sunday) to get down to "The Final Four"; the "FF" will play the weekend after that on Saturday, with the Championship game to be played Monday Night.

I was about to do the same thing.
For the record (since this has come up before with some problems), is this open to BB members only? Is this a total public league? Is it invitation only?

Back in the days before a wife and kids, I used to follow college basektball very closely. Some of my best years of picking the tournament was in the early 90s. But, now I have too many things that I love (not just family either) competing for my time. Thus, I don't follow college basketball as much as I used to. I know who Kevin Durant and Greg Oden are and I know a few other things, but I'll be hard-pressed to do very well this year.

This is the only place i've posted the grouping, but i don't see any reason for non-BB'ers not to join.

 

Will it be open to the general public or just open to those outside BB?

The Baptist Board name cannot be used in any conjunction, per the policy as stemming from the deal with the Fantasy Football league.

Then again since I will be picking with my heart I will probably finish towards the bottom of the standings.

I just can't ever pick against my Kentucky Wildcat team even though they most likely won't even make it past the 2nd round...

 

I dunno, you could get a favorable draw, such as what you have for the SEC tournament. You guys are poised for a deep run, provided the shooting is okay. Florida, Tenn, and Vandy are on opposite sides of your bracket. You guys have a real nice path to the title game.

Tom, it didn't happen! Kansas is as good as anyone in the country and it would take our A++ game to beat them and Nova is no slouch either.

I have tickets to the SA Regionals so I may get to see your team there if they get past the first couple of rounds.
