Oh, we're learning more of your wonderful alternate reality - Neandertal men are men who have lived more years?

Not too difficult a concept to comprehend by Christians of Neanderthal descent and ancestry.

How else might we be physically related to Jesus Christ and Adam and Eve, if not through Noah who also lived over 900 Neanderthal years.

Not in the least, because Neanderthal morphology was passed on to succeeding generations no matter how long a child might live.

The only thing which altered Neanderthal morphology was the decrease in Neanderthal longevity. Clever, huh?

    Praise God!

Just to keep the thread lively and informative, here is an interesting link to some background on Neanderthal people. Keep in mind that where evolutionists theorize that modern humans migrated out of Africa into Europe, the modern Noahic Neanderthal theory maintains that the 'new' form of anatomically modern humanity appearing throughout the world as "H. sapiens" were just the modern descendents of Neanderthals whose own life spans were diminishing with each passing generation of Noah's three sons and their wives, who, if they resembled Noah at all, must have also lived close to 900 years during their life spans on earth. Rather than having Neanderthals and H. sapiens both evolving from Heidleberg Man, the Noahic Neanderthal hypothesis posits Heidleberg Man as being mid-generational as the life spans of Noah's Neanderthal descendents gradually decreased to modern man's life span of 120 years over a period of 12 generations. This intergenerational difference in life spans accounts for the morphological differences within one race and species of human beings living together until the life spans of the generations of Noah had all been reduced to less that 120 years.

And our oldest living examples today - they show a creeping tendancy towards neandertal traits, don't they? Their chins fade away, coming less and less a prominent part of the face, they develop heavier ridgns over their eyes . . . they become more muscular . . .

Just exactly what we see in our older folk!

Our "older folk" never live beyond 120 years in these latter days.

Headline says "the case is far from settled"

JC writes "O of A is as dead as it is racist".

I will agree with you, JC, the O of A theory is exactly as dead as it is racist.

Sleep well, Paul. Alan Templeton beat us to it.

Did you see how it ended - the very last few statements?

Alan Templeton: "So, I think we do have probably some Neanderthal genes floating around in us."

Robyn Williams: "But you can’t identified them with your techniques?"

Alan Templeton: "Not yet. That’s one on of the future things I want to do. Now in the future, as we get more and more genetic information, we can do more detailed studies on a finer scale. "

So even Alan Templeton isn't certain about your idea that Neandertals bred with us - yet.

I think homo sapiens and neandertals did have sex from time to time. I mean, after all, in our own case, we're talking about a species that will occasionally indulge in sex with sheep!

I suspect the offspring were infertile, like mules.

He is still looking at Neanderthal Man and Modern Man as two different species, though, rather than as one species which metamorphized from Neanderthals into Moderns due to decreasing life spans.

As the Neanderthal life spans of the first generations of Noah decreased, Neanderthal Man started looking more like Heidleberg Man. As the life span of Heidleberg Man continued to decrease, the morphology of Modern Man emerged. At each stage of the gradual metamorphosis of Neanderthal Man into Modern Man, there was no need for inter 'species' breeding because Man, ever since Adam and Eve has always only been one species. We just looked a little different before, and for awhile after, the flood.

And to believe they were seperate species is . . still racist!

To classify ancestors of the human race as separate species in high school textbooks is racist.

Jack Spratt could eat no fat.
His wife could eat no lean.
After they had shared a plate
    They licked the platter clean.

Egypt and South Africa are also African. Is your wife black? Do you consider her not a Neanderthal?
Do you believe that our ancestors were a different race from all modern races?
