I was recently been given a Companion Bible and would very much like a date for its publicatin since it has none.
It has 1914 pages and an Appendix of 224 pages.
The cover only says The Companion Bible, Oxford.
"Printed by the University Press Oxford by Frederick kHall"
The Companiion Bible being the Authorized Version of 1611 with the Structures and notes, critical explatory, and suggestive and with 198 appendixes.
--ODD-- The following is pasted onto the page: "While no editor's name appears on this page of the Companion Bible, the TIMES has always understood that it was edited by E. W. Bullinger of England, and that he had an exceptionally thorough knowledge of New Testament Greek."
I would also like to know when Bullinger died.
Thanks .

Ethelbert William Bullinger, December 15, 1837- June 6, 1913.

Bullinger worked on it from 1908 until his death in 1913. When he died, he had finished the Old Testament and the Gospels; the work was completed by others and the edition was published in 1922.

Thanks for the information friends. Do you also have a biography on Bullinger? It seems that he might have been a follower of Darby or co-worker with Larkin or Scofield. The Bible pre-dates Scofield's and has dispensadtional notes. I wonder if Scofield borowed from Bullinger.
