Hey Guys,
I need some help. I am putting together a sermon, but have sort of gotten stuck so to speak. So I figured I would turn to my brothers and sisters of Baptist Board to help. God has impressed on my heart to put together sermon on the lesser known types of people who end up in Hell.
The one I am stucon and need some help is those who society views as a good moral person, but due to their lack of repentance and belief in Jesus end up going to hell.
Any bible characters you can think of that I could use as an illustration?
Thanks for your help
God Bless You

Answer.
The one who did not believe.

Jesus said so.
The world and everything in it WILL pass away. -
What about the story of the Rich Man and Lazarus in Luke 16:19-31?

You could use the Rich Young Ruler who came to Jesus.
Also, a movie that I have is a good reference point to your message and that it "Time Changer." It talks about how far away from Biblical authority we have come through the past couple hundred years. -

The Pharisees are a good example of outward righteousness with no inward change.
Mt 23:27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness. (KJV) -
Thanks Guys
You guys just proved how bone headed I am. The illustration I was looking for is right underneath my nose.
Thanks for your help
