Sorry, but thats just hatred looking for an excuse to hate. Did President Obama lie about going to war that lead to the deaths of tens of thousands of people, including nearly 4500 Americans?
Actually, that is not hatred at all.
It is speaking the truth in love.
The lies are documented, rampant, everywhere -- even for no particular gain or reason -- and on a daily basis these days.
Enough is enough.
Political "promises" are one thing.
Outright lies to gain some advantage are another all together.
Even the trips made across the nation to gain support of a particular bill (that even his own party do not support -- they hold a majority in the Senate and they could not get it passed!) are noting more than campaign trips under the guise of (yet another lie) "presidential" work.
Yeah, that's why he is making stump speeches all over America.
It amazes less and less everyday I log on here and see the vitriol which the evangelical extremists focus on the President of the United States. At this point when they have literally nothing good to say there is always a new way to drag their arguments through the mud.
Frankly there is nothing Christian in this pursuit and we are all the worse for it.
Clearly President Obama is not Nero, nor can he ever become Nero. It is historically myopic to suggest he is anything close to Nero and shows the ignorance of the individual making such an assertion. When one considers the reign and terror of Nero in its fullest expressions there is no comparison one can make with the current President. To attempt to do so is a historically enfeebled task that ends up only showing the intellectual frailty of the one proposing it. Nero's terror reached far into the early church and destroyed the lives, literally murdered the lives, of thousands from within. There is nothing which this President has done or will do that can ever begin to meet that example.
There is simply no end to the unChristian behavior of some who propound this tripe and it reflects poorly on yourselves and your Savior. We are a weaker forum because of this kind of ambivalence towards the truth and craven rhetoric which dumbs our outlook.
Saying that Nero would be a saint compared to President Obama totally destroys the credibility of this writer. It destroys any point he is trying to make.
The OP is an accurate appraisal of Obama's character. Was Mao any better than Nero? And yet this President practically idolizes him. Crowds in the zoos feel safe, because the beasts are chained. If not for what remains of the chains of the Constitution, his defenders here would be singing a different tune.
I don't know that Obama needs to be compared to Nero or anyone else. I believe he stands out among the likes of him on his own. In fact I am quite sure one day people will compare others to him in the same way he is being compared to Nero.
While there was some vague honesty in his original campaigning by and large he is working to fundamentally change the US to a socialist state in an underhanded way. He cannot be trusted and needs to be ousted.
