New Report Calls into Question ‘Man-Made’ Climate Change

    Tuesday, August 26, 2008
    By Kevin Mooney, Staff Writer

(CNSNews.com) – New scientific evidence suggests there is a stronger link between solar activity and climate trends on Earth than there is with greenhouse gases, Fred Singer, an atmospheric and space physicist, told CNSNews.com.

The new data call into question whether scientific evidence shows that global warming is a man-made phenomenon and suggests that natural forces, as opposed to human activity, may drive global climate change.

Exactly why does it matter? If the possibility of climate change results in cleaner air, good.

Why did you respond if it doesn't matter?

Afraid of the subject and want to marginalize it is the likely answer.

Because it has become a tool that is used to advance socialism/communism. An evil in this world that should be defeated.

Good Christians can't worry about trashing the earth because God is going to trash it, anyway? To busy getting people into the lifeboats?

It's one thing to avoid pollution and another to get into the environmental movement. I was in a segment of it and around it a lot, and I can tell you that you can never do enough for the earth. Never! No matter what you do, there's always more you can do. Mother earth demands all of you because she is another god, Gaia, now being idolized more and more.

Once Christians start down that road, it will take all their time and will draw them away from what they should be doing for Christ. Also, Christians better be prepared to deal with deep ecologists, Neopagans, and New Agers and figure out how they are going to get on board the agenda of these people, because that is what it will be.

Since I don't see much discernment in the church (and most Christians know practically know nothing about these beliefs), I can see this bringing on a syncretization of paganism and Christianity, which has already happened. Matthew Fox is a good example - episcopal priest and proponent of Creation Spirituality. Christ came to die for the earth.

    Can anyone say non-sequitir?

Way to ignore the obvious: that there is no data proving man-made climate change.

I'd change the subject, too, if I knew my view didn't hold up under scrutiny.

I agree 100% Rev. If the folks pushing this (the global elite trough their control over the media and government) get their way we'll all be paying global taxes soon. That, I believe would fall under international socialism.

The way I see it "man made global warming" is just a propaganda tool of said global elite to indoctrinate the masses and prepare them for the idea of global taxes. This isn't a right vs left thing. It's a we the 90% vs them the 10% thing. And the 10% have control of almost all the information outlets and educational institutions.

I do wish liberals could see how manipulated they are in all this. I wish the conservatives would figure out who the real culprits behind all this are and stop blaming it all on the elite's useful idiots amongst the liberal crowd.
