Although the study considers the results to be limited in scope due to the relatively small number of stillbirths studied in comparison to live births -- 663 stillbirths, about 1,900 live births -- the results raise significant issues, as Dr. Varner said in the interview, regarding the increased availability of marijuana through legalization efforts. This is in addition to the information that has been known for several years as a result of the Washington State University ADCAPS study of marijuana use.
These clowns calling marijuana "safe" and "useful" either have no clue, or are as deliberately disingenuous as our Great Pretender "president."
New study finds marijuana triples risk of stillbirth

How was the marijuana administered? (I'm on my phone and couldn't read the article) I don't think anyone would argue that smoking it has health risks. But there are several methods of administration. That would make a difference in the findings.

Give me the herbs of my ancestors, and keep your "Doctors". -

"LOL" right back atcha. -
You dont even know what the ingredients are in prescription meds.
Why dont you trust the Creator, to make plants that we can use as medicine? -
I am not advocating a 13 year-old scoring some bud laced with embalming fluid, so he can humo out of a 6 story window.
I'm talking about using a plant, that the Creator put here, for the purpose He put it here for.
I have tested the m.j. leaf tea, as a mild pain reliever, and there is pain relief with out a "hi".
Also, the stems can be woven into rope. -
I love it when some marijuana campaigner points to Gen. 1:11 ("Let the earth sprout vegetation" -- tell me, why is marijuana the only plant you associate with that verse, since "vegetation" also encompasses stink weed and poison ivy?) and other verses (Gen. 1:29; 3:18) to justify the smoking of what they refer to as "grass." You want to claim that, since God created the plant and declared it "good", it should therefore be enjoyed. Well, go ahead and enjoy it. It's made from hemp, which makes a great rope -- probably enough you could hang yourself, as this argument will do.
God also created sand (which, by nature of the fact that God made it, is "good"), and if someone wants to eat sand by the spoonful, they may do so. However, they shouldn’t complain if they get a stomach ache. While God had a practical use for marijuana, man decided for some reason to burn it and kill his brain cells by inhaling its harmful fumes. Likewise, man decided to use the beautiful poppy to destroy his life with incredibly addictive heroin. Breathing in the burning fumes of anything is extremely unhealthy, and those who do so aren’t thinking very deeply. This is one reason why marijuana is called “dope.” Those who smoke “grass” will waste their days, wither their brain, and forget what they are doing. Feel free, if you must. Sane people will think twice, however. -
Glad you like listening to yourself..., Now do you mind telling me where i said anything in favor of smoking pot? Or getting high at all?
Or, for that matter, using the part of the plant where the THC is concentrated, the bud?
Or buying anything from a dealer?
Try this new hobby...dialogue. -

Notice the Word "tea"....
Try it, D-I-A-L-O-G-U-E.
It means you read my post, and answer. And I do the same. -
BTW, if a plant has an active ingredient, that actually affects you in some way, it is both potentially medicinal, and dangerous...at the same time.
Poppies are used for both heroin, and opiate based pain killers.
And MJ has a med. use, as well.
Just because you havent studied plants, and their uses, doesnt mean others havent.
I chew on willow bark, rather than take an aspirin...did my "dealer" put a "cut" on that, too?
Your tiny little world isnt the only thing going in God's garden. -
Just an FYI, don't use willow bark if you're female and might be pregnant. Or OTC aspirin... -
Good thing all those trustworthy drug companies are so reliable. They might get sued if they weren't.
I get offput by any side effects danger list that exceeds the combined expected benefits and ingredients lists. -

Marijuana is a miracle drug for people suffering the effects of radiation & chemical oncologies. And it has to inhaled. Smoking just a tiny bit of marijuana cures nausea, and stimulates the appetite. And there is little else that works, and certainly nothing in a comparable price range.
Go ahead and toss the names at me, and work hard to convince yourself my motives must be pure evil, or address the facts.
