Hydroxychloroquine helped save coronavirus patients, study shows; Trump campaign hails 'fantastic news'

Wonder if this big study will be a game changer, compared to some very expensive treatments like Remdesivir.

Researchers at the Henry Ford Health System in Southeast Michigan have found that early administration of the drug hydroxychloroquine makes hospitalized patients substantially less likely to die.

The study, published in the International Journal of Infectious Diseases, determined that hydroxychloroquine provided a "66% hazard ratio reduction," and hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin a 71 percent reduction, compared to neither treatment.

The politics around this became TOXIC because of Trump Derangement Syndrome, even though overseas they kept having good results, the bias tainted other studies here in the USA, when they refused to give it to anyone except almost dead patients, which of course then it is too late.

At least we discovered that we have thousands of political doctors. A lot of union people are against HCQ also so It probably was coming from the Democrats as political orders.

The French saved some Americans because they have the leading expert in the world in Dr. Didier Raoult, as you know.
